Yelle

Kyle and I have discovered a new music artist that we are quite fond of. Her name is Yelle and she is awesome. Our favorite songs are Tristesse Joie ROLF HONEY rmx and Ce Jeu. If you can't tell, she is French and we have no clue what she is saying even though Kyle took French in high school. Here is a video of some sort with one of her songs, I plan to have the dance moves mastered by Jen's wedding.

Big Money!

Brian and I and some of our friends went to Keeneland on Saturday. For most of us this was our first time going. We tailgated for a little bit and then went in to watch the races. Overall the weather was pretty nice and we had a good time. Brian's outfit for the day was quite amusing, for those of you who don't know this is not his normal attire, but he fit in quite well at Keeneland. The highlight of the day was the big money that Brian and I won. In the 7th race of the day I picked Ride Em Cowgirl to show and it won, so I won $5.20! On the 8th race Brian picked Danceroftherealm to win and it did, so he won $7.20. Between the those two victories we are pretty sure we came out 40 cents on top (not including admission, food and beverage), but it made the day a success.

CMT Awards

As Brian said in an earlier post, I went to Nashville earlier this week to the CMT awards with some of my co-workers. I had a great time and got some really good pictures. Here is a link to some of my pictures.

CMT Music Awards

As I type, Amanda is at the CMT Music Awards in Nashville, TN with some of her coworkers from her internship. She has been really looking forward to going for quite some time, so I am happy she has gotten the opportunity. The group drove down to Nashville this morning and will be returning tomorrow. I'm sure Amanda will have pictures and stories galore to report.

Just call me John.

I got my wisdom teeth out last week and feel very lucky that the process went as well as possible. Other than a large amount of swelling and throbbing pain, I was pretty lucky to not experience a "dry socket" or any other type of infection. The morning after my surgery, I woke up around 5:30 AM to find that my face had doubled on both sides over night. I could only imagine what everyone was going to say. My lovely twin sister, Abby, came in and said you look like "John McCain". So, for the rest of my time spent at home recovering from this surgery I was referred to as John! This is by no means an endorsement for John McCain for President 2008.

Back in the saddle again!

Hey guys! Sorry for being so negligent about keeping our blog updated. We are going to attempt to start posting more often about our exciting lives. In the next couple of months, Brian and I will be experiencing new things. I graduate college in May and Brian starts his internship in Oklahoma City. We will begin our journey in Utah to celebrate Ben and Jen's wedding and then spend the summer in Oklahoma City. Hopefully, we will have many stories and memories to share with you all.

...Anyone interested in renting our apartment for the summer?
