Our Wedding Website

Hey guys,

I just wanted to give you all our wedding website. I'm still in the process of updating it. I could not figure out how to crop pictures on Brian's computer. So, there are no pictures up yet. That will be Brian's job!

Peak a boo...I see you!

As most of us know Lab dogs LOVE the water and Charlie is no exception. It's not odd to see a little black head peep into the shower to try and catch a few drops of water. For the past couple mornings Kyle has been parking his car at our apartment and I take him to work so that he can run on his lunch break to our apartment. Today he let Charlie out to go to the bathroom and then lets Charlie run around while he showers. I let Kyle know that Charlie likes to stick his head into the shower but not to worry that is all he does. Not this time. Charlie decided to join him and took a big jump and in he went and man was he in heaven!!!

I told Kyle that Brian and I had actually been talking the night before that Charlie needed a bath and I was so excited that it got done today!

This is mine and Kyles converstation about the situation today.

me: how long did he stay in there with you?

Kyle: well he snuck in and i tried to kick him out and he was just being deadweight so then when i got him out i realized he was going to be all wet running around the house so i made him come back in till i was done. So pretty much the entire time, but he did run around the apartment before i could dry him off once

Classic!

Good morning!

My usual morning routine is get up take charlie out, figure out what I'm going to wear and then sit down on the couch put my make-up on and watch the Today show. What is the FIRST thing they preview on the TODAY show??? Oklahoma TORNADOES...DEADLY TORNADOES...okay they are always deadly. Seriously? This makes me a nervous wreck. They interviewed a girl whose house was destroyed. She said she was with her grandparents and her papaw could not hold on long enough and he flew out!!! O.M.G!!!!! When Tornado season arrives to Oklahoma all I ask is a small prayer every night for Brian, Charlie and I.

Weddings, weddings, weddings!

It looks like I will not have time to get homesick once I move to Oklahoma City. My sister, Kim, got engaged this past week to her long time boyfriend, Chase. I am super excited for both of them. Shew, it's about time (dated since 6th grade). They will be getting married October 3, 2009. That means shower in August and a bachelorette party. I would not miss either one of these for the world. Two of my other best friends are getting married as well. One on July 25 and one in August but not sure of the date.

Oklahoma City bound!!!!!

As most of you know, Brian and I will be moving to Oklahoma City, OK (the capital of tornadoes) in July. I am still deciding what I will do once I get down there. I am contemplating going back to school, working and going to school, or just working. I'm still debating on what I want to get my masters in...it would be 1 of 3 things: Public Health, MBA, M.A.T. Hopefully, I will soon decide and take the appropriate test to be able to apply for the specific program. I'm so out of school mode, the thought of studying for exams, preparing for presentations, and group projects make me sick. That is one thing I have not missed. I know if I do not go back now there is no going back.

I went a head and put in my couple months notice at work. This way I can help interview and train the new employee how to manage the service team. It was not an easy thing to do. I love all the people I work with, as well as, my members. My last day will be the end of April. We will be moving back to Morehead until we make the big move to OKC. The couple weeks before we are married we will be living with our parents. Once we are married we will be living with Brian's parents.

Brian, Charlie and I have been very blessed and are so excited for all the upcoming events. Some will be very difficult but it is something that will only make our relationship stronger. And we thank God everyday, with the way the economy is, friends parents being laid off, that Brian has a secured job...for now. Figures crossed I can find something.

Until next time...stay warm!

Tonight I gotta cut loose...

On Saturday a group of our friends headed out to the Merrick bar dressed in our 80s best. I just wanted to share with you some of the pictures from our evening. Brian, Kyle, Casie, and I won a dancing contest. Brian hands down won best dressed...enjoy!
