Thanksgiving.
I love food.
I love stuffing.
Turkey.
but mostly, desserts....
Oh, and family too! ;)
This was our third year of hosting the entire Scott family for Thanksgiving.
We enjoy it so much and hope it will become tradition.
And this year Sam was mobile and so much fun.
Sibling love with Sam! |
It is a Scott family tradition to run a 5k turkey trot the morning of Thanksgiving. Luckily, the first year we hosted Thanksgiving, Edmond was hosting their first annual turkey trot. What started out as very small the first year, has nearly tripled the third year.
Pre-stretch, checking out his competition.
Always making a statement. |
The medalist himself. |
Rubbing it in. Greg also placed 2nd in his age group. |
After a great run, we headed back to run around with this little guy. And start the prepping for our Thanksgiving feast.
We checked out the dog door several times. |
Played in the leaves. |
More leaf fun. |
We had to dump it out. |
Then Sam found the latter that uncle Brian forgot to put up. So we climbed it several times. |
Oh, I did snap a picture of the 'man of the house' carving the turkey.
But then quickly back to this cute little guy.
Sam got pretty good at blowing his nose and clapping for himself. So funny! |
After a long, long day Sam Sam was so tired.
Uncle Brian rubbed his belly! Sleepy boy! |
It's not a complete Thanksgiving week without a trip to see the CHK lights. And Sam loved it!
It was another wonderful Thanksgiving this year. It was such a joy to hang out with our nephew ( he actually liked me! I can't say that for Hudson) and seeing how much he has grown in the last year. We are so thankful for everyone traveling out here and making this holiday so much fun.
This last picture sums up the end of our TG week...
Exhausted.
